You have to read this!
Nov. 10th, 2010 11:08 pm"Chrysler Almighty" is a Dean/Castiel story that appeared just today and it's rec's are already spreading like wildfire throughout the Web.
And rightly so. This NC-17 story is a fantastic piece of fanish writing. It is, in essence, nothing but a piece of humorous porn. BUT, it is a damn well written piece of porn. The delicious hotness melds aimlessly with the humour providing you with a good half an hour of scorching hot fun.
zatnikatel uses her flowy, light style and cocky use of similes to present the readers with two hot, very manly men. Those two men try to one up each other with words and actions, having searingly hot wall sex in the process. And in between all that we are gifted with the most unusual use of architectural vocabulary and facts about the Chrysler building, as well as a fair amount of emotional bonding. Almost - dare I say it? - romance.
Although knowledge of the back story undoubtedly furthers the enjoyment derived from the fic, I believe that it is not at all necessary. I would recommend it even to those who had never watched an episode of Supernatural. However, if You do watch the show, dear f-list, be warned that it contains spoilers for season 6 and the episode "Family Matters" in particular.
By far, the most amazing thing about this story, though, is that it is a first time story - for the author.
zatnikatel admits that it is her first time writing any kind of sex. It is my humble opinion, that "Chrysler Almighty" is an extremely successful debut.
